We have been getting mixed reviews lately on who Sophia resembles most. What do you think? I think she has Aaron's fingers, toes, eye color and nose. And lucky for her she got my uni-brow (why would you want two eye-brows when you can have one long one) and my mouth and double chin!! Thank goodness for her dad's qualities!!

I don't know if any of you have experienced this or not, but ever since I had Sophia I have been losing my hair in clumps and am unsure of what to do!!! Every time I just touch my hair (not to mention wash it) clump after clump comes out. If I continue at this rate I will be as bald as Sophia soon.:)
Here are some photos of Sophia and I playing this past week. We love to see her smile!

My Favorite!!!

When Sophia wakes up in the morning she lays in her crib and plays for up to an hour sometimes. My absolute favorite moment is when I approach her crib and she sees me for the first time. She is always so smiley and happy. I could have gotten a better picture but my camera batteries died!

Here is a picture of our little one eating off a spoon! I started her on rice cereal on her birthday and she is doing a great job with it.

4 MONTHS OLD!!!

Grandma these pictures are for you. Here is proof that we have successfully broken Sophia from having to be swaddled. She is as free as a bird. Hopefully, as she grows up she wont remember the three and half months of claustrophobic feelings. :)

Despite our efforts to not spoil Sophia rotten, sometimes we give in and let her take a nap on the couch. Isn't she adorable!!! We have quilts down to protect the cushions from the many bodily fluids that accompany a young infant. Who knows maybe we will move to plastic next? :)
This photo documents two of Sophia's normal behaviors. The first being the natural scowl (I can only imagine the teenage years!) and the second being how she holds her hands tightly together. She does this regularly and has done so since birth.

I love how she is figuring out that her hands are actually attached and useful.

Home away from home!!

Sophia and I go to work a few times a week. Sophia generally sleeps the day away in her car seat.

Sophia has mastered the tummy to back roll. We are still working on the back to tummy one. She is growing up so fast and I fear will be mobile before too long.
Here is a video of Sophia performing her latest trick. Yes, I am aware that none of you are quite as excited about our child rolling over as we are, so I made the video short.

Sophia lights up when daddy comes home!

Three months old!

We celebrated Sophia's
3 month birthday with family. Grandma supplied the cake and candles while Grandpa and Uncle Ryan were good sports to participate.

We saw our good friends from Pleasanton, the Brooks family.
Sophia loved spending time with Great Grandma Boyce
Cousin Judson and Sophia hanging out!

Aaron in his Norweigen hat. Isn't he handsome!

Is she talented or what?

Here is Sophia with all of her cousins on the Boyce side.

Little miss Sophia holding her heavy head up.

I got to see my friend from HS Janelle. We met in a small town halfway between Provo and St. George Utah and ate dinner at the wonderful "Garden of Eat'en" The food was as good as it sounds

Mery Christmas and Happy New Year!

We drove to Utah this holiday season. Brave of us, I know! We had a great time spending time with family. Here are a few pictures of our trip.

On our way to Utah we stopped in Arizona to see Grandpa Don and Karen. This is a picture outside of a restaurant we went to for lunch.

After we spent the night in Arizona we stopped in Las Vegas to spend time with Aarons brother, our sister-in-law and nephew. When we were there we took Sophia to see santa with her cousin Than.
Here is Sophia and her grandpa! She LOVED spending time with grandpa!
On Christmas Eve the Norweigen Santa (Ryan) put on a wonderful program that included these cool slippers!
Cousin Than was too cute! Out of all the gifts surrounding him I caught him playing with a can of gerber snacks! :)
